The Command & Control (C2) System Integrator supports the Army Joint Support Team (AJST) by coordinating the activities of enhanced operators for the maintenance of computers off the shelf (COTS) and common hardware software (CHS) including ancillary equipment (related to Military Occupational Specialty 140A).

Performance may include, but are not limited to:
• Assists in the setup, operation, and teardown of the Battlefield Coordination Detachment Response cell. Maintains an existing training lab of DoD command and control systems as well as configuration managed common client workstations
• Assists our MCTP Support Team members as they work with MCTP planners and Det 1 planners in creating response cell and exercise control Exercise Support Manning and Equipment Documents
• Assists in training less experienced personnel including other C2 systems planners
• Collects and reviews communications and network information including but not limited to internet protocol (IP) addresses; ports, protocols, services required by joint and service systems; unit reference numbers; formatted addresses; contact information all required for operational success
• Develops and maintains appropriate documentation including systems configuration checklists and historical data
• Performs moderately complex systems architecture design using generally accepted Department of Defense planning processes and principles
• Performs basic troubleshooting and fault isolation
• Provides coaching and teaching assistance on joint air-ground processes and the systems that automate them to soldiers and airmen working at the operational level of war
• Provides joint air-ground systems expertise, guidance and furthers assists MCTP Support Team members during planning event JAGO working groups, JAGO seminars, and other times as needed
• Supports C2 and network architecture planning and configuration.
• Supports moderately complex data/media recovery through system backups and database archive operations

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
• BS or BA degree in related discipline and 6+ years of related experience
• MS/MA in related discipline and 4+ years of related experience
• PhD with no related experience
• Additional years of experience in lieu of education may be substituted
• How the U.S. Military, in particular the joint force plans and executes joint air-ground command and control as well as the systems that automate the processes
• Experience with configuring AFATDS and TAIS for successful communications within a joint air-ground environment and with backing up and restoring operational data on AFATDA and TAIS
• Experience with configuring and operating JADOCS managers
• Experience with populating operational data into AFATDS and TAIS
• Experience with using Joint air applications including, but not limited to CAOC Central and Joint Targeting Toolbox
• Experience with setting up and operating Common Operational Picture tools
